In April 2026, the IBCM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NGO “Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians” (VoRAE).
This MoU establishes a framework for cooperation to support students from Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities throughout their university studies and to promote greater inclusion, academic success, and equal opportunities in higher education.
The agreement focuses on the development and implementation of support mechanisms for students, including:
Peer mentoring programmes involving senior students
Academic tutoring and professional guidance provided by academic staff and experts
Career orientation and professional development support
Activities that encourage active participation in university and student life
Exchange of expertise and methodologies related to educational inclusion and student support
This cooperation reflects IBCM’s commitment to inclusive education and equal access to academic opportunities for underrepresented communities. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to help reduce educational inequalities and strengthen the academic and professional development of students from Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian backgrounds.
